Men’s Group:

Each Thursday Evening at 6:30 PM a group of Christian men gather at a home for fellowship, sharing, and a look at issues which are important to our spiritual growth today.  These are informal, round-the-table times together where relationships in the body of Christ are cultivated and encouraged to grow.

Why be involved in Bible study?   See what the Bible says:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for

    doctrine,

       for reproof,

           for correction,

               for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect,

thoroughly furnished unto all good works.  2 Timothy 3:16-17

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere (pure) milk of the Word,

    that ye may grow thereby:

If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.   1Peter 2:1-3

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.    2 Timothy 2:15

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.     Romans 10:17

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.     1 Peter 1:23

Bible Study is an all important matter to every Christian and to those who are seeking absolute truth.

Daily scripture reading, meditation, and prayer alone with God are of value beyond measure.

We believe that for best results one should generally study the Word of God systematically, and cover-to-cover, whether one divides first the Old then New Testaments or some of both in each days reading and meditation until the entire Bible is covered.

Then one should re-read the entire Bible again, and again, because God has deeper truths for the believer who is willing to live in the Word and let Him unfold His heart and mind to each of us.

In the scriptures, God makes a direct connection between the scriptures (His written Word), and our Savior, Jesus, as the Living Word.  (see John chapter 1)

If one desires study beyond this systematic reading of the Bible, it might be done by subject matter, topical study, with help from a concordance, Bible dictionary, and/or other credible reference materials.

A number of credible Bible Colleges have online courses for persons who feel led but cannot physically attend a college.

To assist you with your systematic study of the scriptures we offer a schedule of reading which, if followed, will take one through the entire Bible in a year.

Please feel at liberty to copy and distribute the schedule.  (click below)
